Ron Hayward named Senior Vice President of Radars and Sensors at SRC

SRC, Inc., is pleased to announce that Ron Hayward (headshot) has been named senior vice president, Radars andSensors division, following a national search conducted by Odgers Berndtson.

In this role, Hayward will provide management, technical leadership and business development for some of the most significant and exciting systems for the US military. Hayward will be responsible for all aspects of the Radars and Sensors business division, including program performance, developing new opportunities and enhancing existing business relationships, establishing strategic goals and objectives, developing contractor alliances and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Hayward served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1977 to 1997, with worldwide deployed service including Operations Desert Shield, Desert Storm and Provide Comfort, and completed his active service at the Naval Air Systems Command at Patuxent River, Maryland. During his military career, Hayward received numerous awards and commendations including being named the Marine Corps Aviation Association’s 1992 Avionics Marine of the Year.

Hayward is an experienced professional with 20 years of demonstrated success in the DoD industry. Hayward’s background reflects consistent success in roles of increasing scope and responsibility in program management, engineering and business development within medium to large aerospace and defense companies, including: L-3, DRS, and BAE Systems. His final military assignment in the U.S. Marine Corps was at the Naval Air Systems Command in Pax River as a deputy program manager and Avionics Systems Engineer. Hayward has a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Albany, a master’s degree in systems engineering from Johns Hopkins University, completed the Executive Leadership Institute at the Whittemore School of Business at the University of New Hampshire, achieved DoD certification in Program Management and Logistics, and has project management professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
