SRCTec, LLC has been awarded a $20M contract by the US Army to deliver reliability, maintainability, and improvement (RMI) kits to update the AN/VLQ-12 countermeasures set. The updated technology will maintain the system’s effectiveness against increasingly sophisticated electronic warfare (EW) threats.
“We are proud to continue our support of the US Army by providing updates to keep these critical systems ahead of the threat,” said Mary Pat Hartnett, president of SRCTec. “The updated systems will continue to protect warfighters from EW threats.”
“SRC’s local employees – and the products they manufacture – are the best when it comes to helping keep our troops well-equipped and safe in the field of battle,” said US Senator Charles E. Schumer. “I will work side-by-side with SRC at the highest levels of government to ensure that they are well positioned to bring more of this job-creating work to Central New York.”
