European countries looking to strengthen border and homeland security will find U.S. and Canadian suppliers offering a wide range of innovative solutions this week at Milipol Paris 2019. The biennial business event, the largest and most diversified in the global Milipol network, is expected to host more than 1,000 exhibitors and 30,000-plus trade visitors from some 150 countries November 19-22 at Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre.
The United States and Canada will present 123 exhibitors at-large and in the USA and Canada Partnership Pavilions organized by Kallman Worldwide in coordination with government agencies including the U.S. departments of Commerce, Defense and State. This is Kallman’s third decade organizing North American exhibitors at Milipol Paris.
The Partnership Pavilions are each country’s headquarters on-site: efficient locations for buyers to meet more national suppliers, professional business centers for exhibitors to maximize their exposure and impact on-site and a forum for all to share ideas and insights.
Kallman Worldwide President and CEO Tom Kallman said participation in the Partnership Pavilions — 55 total exhibitors — almost half for the first time — representing 19 U.S. states (including three stand-alone state pavilions) and three Canadian provinces reflects a global trend.
“Now more than ever, success in international trade comes from partnership and teamwork. The USA and Canada Partnership Pavilions sharpen our focus on helping advance each country’s national interests and security by building stronger relationships with international customers,” said Kallman.
“Many of our exhibitors, from publicly traded stalwarts such as FLIR Systems to small- and medium-sized enterprises [SMEs] with fewer than 500 employees, already have significant partnerships and operations in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. In the years to come, many more will,” he said. First-time Milipol Paris exhibitor Waypoint Counter Surveillance exemplifies the trend. The Whitby, Ontario-based provider of Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM), covert surveillance and intelligence related equipment just announced its new product research and development division.
“We are exhibiting at Milipol to increase our exposure to international markets, strengthen our brand and distribution networks, while introducing new advanced products,” said company President Rick Fox. “Canada has a lot to offer and is gaining a strong reputation in the security sector. The Canada Partnership Pavilion at Milipol Paris helps to position Canada as a global player,” he added. [if !supportLineBreakNewLine] [endif]
