Comtech Telecommunications Corp. has announced, that during its second quarter of fiscal year 2020, its Mission-Critical Technologies group, which is part of Comtech’s Government Solutions segment, was named as one of the awardees to compete under the Global Tactical Advanced Communication Systems (GTACS II) and Services contract vehicle. The multiple award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) GTACS II contract vehicle enables multiple companies to compete for up to $5.1 billion, with a five year base period with one five year option period. This GTACS II contract is in support of the Program Executive Office Command, Control and Communications-Tactical (PEO C3T), and Project Manager Tactical Network (PM Tactical Network). GTACS II provides the rapid acquisition of a wide range of C3T hardware, software, engineering services and logistics support services with an emphasis on tactical satellite communications (SATCOM).
