De Boer Marine, a service provider of maritime connectivity solutions, has signed a new multi-year connectivity service agreement with SES to enable ship operators to improve their digital capabilities and operation of their vessels.
This marks the expansion of De Boer Marine and SES’s collaboration that started in 2020 to meet the evolving needs of connectivity across the maritime industry.
De Boer Marine will gain access to SES Commercial Maritime service that offers multiple connectivity options and address end user requirements to support new customer demands, drive digital transformation and increase productivity.
DeBoer Marine will use SES’s high-speed, flexible and seamless global VSAT satellite connectivity, enabling scalable capacity wherever required to help its ship operator customers operate business critical missions like remote asset management or route optimisation.
The connectivity services also will support crew welfare onboard the vessels, providing seamless services that allow the crew to stay connected with their families and friends, contributing to overall job satisfaction, crew well-being and retention.
