Thales Alenia Space, the joint venture between Thales (67%) and Leonardo (33%), announced today that its new website is online.
In line with Thales Alenia Space’s “Space for Life” vision to build a better and more sustainable life on Earth, the new website showcases the wealth of talent and innovative solutions underpinning the company’s activities in telecommunications, satellite navigation, Earth observation and environmental monitoring, space exploration, science and orbital infrastructures.
The website also reflects Thales Alenia Space’s new positioning as a foremost player in the industrial revolution being driven by New Space. Forging new partnerships across the space ecosystem, the company is addressing new markets in high-revisit-rate Earth observation, space cloud computing and the Internet of Things (IoT). New content also spotlights the company’s innovation-based DNA and its holistic approach to designing tomorrow’s programs while anticipating the future needs of government and commercial customers.
For Thales Alenia Space, making space as sustainable as possible is a key priority. Space-based solutions for connectivity help bridge the digital divide around the world. Many of the company’s Earth-observation technologies closely monitor the environment to safeguard our planet. Satellite-based navigation enables more accurate geolocation of aerial and maritime platforms, objects and people, as well as enhancing search & rescue (SAR) services, while space exploration missions are pushing the boundaries of what we know about the Solar System and the Universe.
The website includes a section about the Space Alliance, formed by Telespazio and Thales Alenia Space, as strategic partnership between the world-class companies Leonardo and Thales, able to offer a complete range of solutions based on advanced services and technologies.
It also features our geographic footprint, our talents and career opportunities, as well as all our latest publications, news and press releases.
“Our new website of course conveys all of the company’s messages concerning talent, technologies and applications, but above all it showcases Thales Alenia Space,” said Laura Berneri, Director of Communications at Thales Alenia Space. “I’m very proud of this new website and its ‘Space for Life’ inspired look & feel. It perfectly reflects our company’s environmental values and our people’s constant commitment to developing and building satellites that help the planet and everybody who lives on it.”
