Sofant Technologies has announced the appointment of Peter Hadinger as a strategic advisor to the Board of Directors. With over 40 years of experience in the satellite industry, Mr. Hadinger brings significant expertise to support Sofant's transition from development to commercialisation.

Mr. Hadinger is a distinguished executive in the satellite industry with a notable career in specialised payload engineering and system applications in communications and Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) fields. He joined Inmarsat in 2011, where he developed government-focused capabilities for the Global Xpress worldwide SatCom programme.

Mr. Hadinger's extensive experience includes leadership roles at TRW/Northrop Grumman, contributing to technology development, engineering, and government spacecraft programmes. He holds several patents in advanced satellite communications and has held leadership roles in the crafting of the global Telecom Services Agreement at the WTO, as Vice-Chair of the FCC's WRC Advisory Committee, a member of UK Ofcom’s Spectrum Advisory Board and Vice-Chair of the Satellite Task Force for the President's National Security Telecom Advisory Committee.

His extensive experience, deep sector knowledge, and broad industry network will help guide our strategy as we bring our disruptive technology to the forefront of the market and capitalise on the significant opportunities in the SatCom sector."

Mr. Hadinger commented: "I am excited to join Sofant Technologies as a strategic advisor to the board. Sofant's innovative approach to addressing power consumption and heat problems in satellite communications systems is groundbreaking. I look forward to contributing to the company's growth and success by providing guidance to the board."
