The World Teleport Association (WTA) has established the Government Advisory Board, made up of executives from industry leaders and patrons of the association. The Government Advisory Board will address key challenges, emerging trends and best practices in the government and military market vertical.
WTA’s Government Advisory Board will deliver value to both technology companies and teleport and satellite operators as key advisors on strategies for government and military markets.
“The government and military markets present unique challenges and opportunities for teleport and satellite operators,” said Randall Barney, Executive Director of WTA. “By establishing the Government Advisory Board, we are bringing together industry leaders to share insights, identify critical issues and shape strategies that will help our members navigate this complex sector and drive innovation.”

Members of the Government Advisory Board will meet regularly to identify the most pressing challenges currently facing teleport and satellite operators serving government and military markets. Members will discuss and recommend strategies and solutions that can help meet those challenges and maintain competitive advantage for service providers in WTA’s membership. Based on these recommendations, WTA will produce content showcasing service and technology solutions that address these key topics.
